All About Migraines
Reasons behind a migraine
Migraines are severe headaches caused by the
changes in the level of your bodys serotonin.
The body uses serotonin in many ways and is
known to have an effect on your blood vessels.
When the level of serotonin runs high
the blood vessels constrict/shrink. When the
level of serotonin runs low the blood
vessels dilate/swell. This swelling is known
to cause pain and other problems. Many different
things may affect this rise or fall of your
serotonin levels, such as the level of your
bodys blood sugar, some foods and if youre
a woman changes in the level of your estrogen.
