three types of ultra violet rays, UVA, UVB,
and UVC.
UVA rays often are the cause of skin aging
such as wrinkling, these rays also contribute
to some skin cancers, and melanoma is one type
of skin cancer that is common. UVA rays make
up the majority of the suns exposure. Some people
think that tanning beds help protect you from
skin damage but it doesnt due to the fact
tanning beds also use UVA rays.
UVB rays are the rays that causing sunburns
and some damage to the immune system. These
rays also can contribute to skin cancer. Even
though UVA rays are most visible UVB are the
more dangerous than UVA rays.
UVC rays are blocked by the ozone layer which
is a good thing cause UVC rays are the most
dangerous rays
Basically rays are form of light coming from
UVA, UVB, UVC or even tanning beds, if one of
your triggers to you migraines is sensitivity
to light then you may need some sort of protective
eyewear to help block the ray from triggering
a migraine. UV protective glasses will successfully
help reduce the glare and the bright rays of
the sun. on another note if one of your triggers
are to sensitivity to heat the intensity of
a sunburn such as the heat and the pain may
also trigger a migraine you may want to use
protective sunscreen or sun blocks that have
strong resistance to the UV rys that the sun
gives off.
