TITLE
What Causes a Headache?
The most common causes of Headaches include
loud sounds, anger, bright lights, bright colors,
certain smells, and then there are some unexplained
causes.
Headaches can be caused by anything that can
disturb the eyes, makes loud noises, or angers
the person who is getting the Headaches.
If you are prone to getting Headaches then
a rock concert is not for you. Loud noises can
stimulate the ear drum until eventually the
ear drum becomes agitated and sends a signal
to the brain, the brain then causes more blood
to be pumped to the ear drum to keep the ear
drum from temporarily going deaf.
Bright lights such as camera flashes can also
cause a Headache. Once again the eyes can be
stimulated by the flashes until they can no
longer take the strain so they send a signal
to the brain and the brain then warns your body
that it can not take much more of the lights.
The Headaches caused by the two things above
last about twenty to thirty minutes each and
can have an after math of small throbs every
once in a while. Because of this people will
usually take medicine to stop the throbs and
to get back to what ever it was that they were
doing.
During pregnancy women can get Headaches from
certain smells simply because their hormones
are not wanting that smell. The nasal passage
will start to take in less air and make you
light headed and then the Headache begins.
There are some cases where too much blood will
be pumped up to the brain for no reason and
cause a Headache. When this happens the brain
sends another signal to your nerve endings telling
you that your body is attempting to speed up
and you need to speed up with it to keep the
Headache from occurring.
